Henry Brodie

Henry Brodie is Operating Partner and Chief Operating Officer of 1kx, and a Director of 1kx Management Ltd. He leads the firm's operations, finance, compliance, and treasury functions across the firm's funds and management company. Henry joined in 2020 and has built the firm's operating platform from inception, designing the processes and controls that underpin a multi-fund manager investing in liquid and venture digital-asset strategies. He works closely with the founding partners on capital formation, governance, and the firm's longer-term platform strategy.

Before 1kx, Henry spent six years in regulated financial services. He was an investment associate at Pollen Street Capital on the private credit desk, prior to which he worked in the CLO team at Tikehau Capital, and began his career in Global Corporate Trust at U.S. Bank, where he covered structured leveraged loans and CLO transactions. He holds a BSc in Business from Oxford Brookes University. Henry has been active in crypto since 2013, as founder of PunkDAO, and founding member of Spaceship DAO and KRPDM.
